Celebration of Culture, Style and Sustainability....
Ashanti’s mission is to celebrate the brilliance of traditional African craft through contemporary interior design. The founder, Rob Walker (pictured above) and team are passionate about the culture and artistry the business supports.
Working with artisans in remote villages, everything is handmade from up-cycled and sustainably sourced materials, their employment is fair-trade and help to support the villages.
The signature Ashanti fabric is meticulously hand-woven from the fibres of perfectly good fabric that would otherwise be sent to landfill, making each item unique. So not only are you buying an original, your choice is also ethical, kind and conscious to the environment and its people.
Driven by a deep passion for Africa, its people and its ways, Ashanti is a contemporary celebration of traditional craft. From how we source our materials, to the way our products are made and who makes them, our business proudly represents the resourcefulness, vibrance and outlook of this colourful continent.
We welcome you now to Ashanti Hong Kong, we have the privilege of working with the team in Cape Town to bring these beautiful homewares to Hong Kong. We look forward to hearing from you for any enquiries, we are now open to take your order. |
