Aside from all the hustle and bustle in Wan Chai, the place is also a hidden gem for authentic designs, craftsmanship and interesting local stories. Join us to explore the lesser-known side of Wan Chai in the upcoming tailor-made guided tours curated by #ddHK and iDiscover.
#ddStory highlights the intangible design and crafts in this neighbourhood. In this tour, you get to hear first-hand from Oi Kwan Barber's 2nd generation owner his craftsmanship and his journey of keeping the legacy. And of course, nothing beats pit stops with traditional pastries and drinks.

Design District Hong Kong (#ddHK) is a 3-year Creative Tourism Project (2018 onwards) presented by Tourism Commission, organised by Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC). The open-air design district gallery was curated under the theme of "Connected City: A Love Letter to Hong Kong" in the first year. In 2019, the theme is "Pop! Get Inspired at Every Turn". It is a fantastic blueprint for the visitors and public to explore the city in a brand new way. |
