Why do children need to go through with an allergy test?

According to allergy research statistics, approximately 40% of children suffering from eczema (under 3 years of age) also experience food allergies. When they encounter these food allergens, their eczema condition could worsen.

The term “Allergic March” refers to the natural history or typical progression of allergic diseases that often begin early in life. These include atopic dermatitis (eczema), food allergy, allergic rhinitis and asthma.

Although not every child would experience all allergic symptoms, but early detection through allergy tests and avoiding their allergens could prevent these allergic symptoms.

- The plan will be valid for 3 months starting from the date of payment.
- The Allergy Test report would be issued around 10-20 working days after the allergy tests are conducted under normal conditions 
- Please contact merchant to enquire on operating hours during special occasions or festive seasons 
- Reports can be sent to clients via email, or result explanation by phones or in person at Hong Kong Allergy Test Centre (Wan Chai) 
- Amendment or cancellation is not allowed once the payment is confirmed, and is not transferable nor refundable.
- All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of Hong Kong Allergy Test Centre 
- All tests are not for the purpose of medical diagnosis or treatment.
