Featuring both the raw, malevolent onslaught of The Day Burzum Killed Mayhem and the icy, beautifully tragic dirge of Seven Tears are Flowing to the River, the album is incredibly diverse yet consistently preserves the truest essence of black metal, spawning one timeless classic after another.

Over the years, Nargaroth has firmly demonstrated—through both their musical creations and concrete actions—a steadfast refusal to align with extreme ideologies, further cementing their unshakeable status as black metal royalty. In 2026, major metal label Season of Mist released their new album, Apocalyptic Steel, marking their first release in nearly a decade. Regularly appearing as headliners at major heavy metal festivals worldwide, Nargaroth remains an immortal and legendary force in the history of black metal.
