来自德国成军超过二十年的技术残死乐队 Defeated Sanity, 最初只有结他手 Wolfgang Teske 和鼓手儿子 Lille Gruber 以 Side Project 的形式进行, 直到後来经历成员之间的交替, 才渐渐定下来并发展成现在的正式阵容 (知名结他手 Christian Müenzner 在加入 Necrophagist 之前也曾参与 DS 一些早期作品的录制及演出)。
Defeated Sanity 乐队主要受老牌死金乐队 Cannibal Corpse丶 Immolation丶Suffocation丶Disgorge丶Devourment 的风格影响, 虽然系出德国但其乐风主要偏向厚重的美式死金, 多年来由充满压迫感的残死节奏以至拍子诡异多变的技术死金, Defeated Sanity 都从不局限自己的发展, 在乐迷心中打下了一座稳固的基石。乐队从 1994 年创团以来共推出过 5 张正规专辑, 包括:

Defeated Sanity is a Deutsch technical brutal death metal band from Dachsbach, Bavaria, that was formed in 1994, originally as a side project of guitarist Wolfgang Teske and his son, drummer Lille Gruber. Gruber is the only original remaining member left in the band, following the departure of Teske in July 2008. The other members are Christian Kühn (guitar), and Jacob Schmidt (bass guitar). For almost a year the band was looking for a new vocalist, due to Jens Staschel leaving the band shortly before Teske; Staschel's replacement, A.J. Magana from Disgorge, was announced in June 2009.
Since their formation, Defeated Sanity has released four studio albums: Prelude to the Tragedy (2004), and Psalms of the Moribund (2007), both through the United Kingdom-based label Grindethic Records; and Chapters of Repugnance (2010), Passages into Deformity (2013) and Disposal Of The Dead // Dharmata (2016) through Willowtip Records. Defeated Sanity also released numerous promos, demos and splits. Influenced by bands such as Cannibal Corpse and Suffocation, their music is mostly based on the American death metal style.
Defeated Sanity's main influences are the early work of Cannibal Corpse, Immolation, and Suffocation. Gruber also cited newer bands like Disgorge and Devourment as a source of inspiration. Defeated Sanity's lyrics are influenced by Brodequin's "awesome concept". Gruber described the band's lyrics as "dark and brutal", which fit with Defeated Sanity's gore imagery.
In 2016, Defeated Sanity has recruited Josh Welshman as the band's new full time vocalist. Welshman, based out of Warwick, Rhode Island, also handles vocals duties, and all instruments for one man death metal project Autonomy.

组成於 2004 年, 乐队初期音乐曲风以旋律死亡金属作根底, 歌词多以战争, 人性黑暗面为材。直到 2008 年初, 成员们都认为需要做一些更有破坏力的音乐, 乐曲去掉大部分旋律性的乐句, 转为更重型的节奏, 经重整後於 2008 年年底重返舞台, 分别参与"香港极端金属节2008 和2009", 期间亦有幸与不同国家的金属乐队同台演出: 日本(Defiled, Rest in Gore, Woundeep), 中国 (Frozen Moon ,军械所,锯,暗月冥), 韩国 (Oathean), 澳州(Parkway Drive ), 亦於 2009 年接受 Private Mag丶Re:spect 等香港杂志访问, 而 2010 年更有幸到珠海参与当地单位举办的演出。
2010 年後因种种原因乐队被迫暂停一段颇长时间, 直至 2014 年到目前, 大家决定要将 Adversary 的音乐带到不同地方, 而到处找寻更多不同主题来完成多首新作, 希望更多人认识香港的金属, 以及来自香港这弹丸之地的一队死亡金属乐队 - Adversary。

Cadaver是香港其一具独立思想的金属乐队, 2003年由Tak成立, 当时的阵容有 Tak (结他手), Wai (结他手), Ming (贝司手及主唱) 和 BS (鼓手) 所组成. 曾出席多场香港地下音乐的表演, 十分荣幸能参与2005年挪亚方舟香港极端金属节, 最後因私人理由曾一度解散. 在两年後, 经 Tak 重组下, Cadaver 成员加入了 Jason (结他手), 重新以新阵容作2011年香港极端金属节之表演.
在 Ming 的离队後, Wilfred Ho (鼓手) 和Sean Shum (主唱) 之加盟, 使 Cadaver 以最完整之阵容重新开始.
2014年因成员变动暂停所有活动， 直至2015年新鼓手Kevin的加入， Cadaver宣告复出。
本团藉以死亡金属之曲风, 起伏休止不断的节奏, 嘶竭唱腔, 以冲击现世道德伦理规范下的枷锁, 唤起人类内心变动形式上之情感, 机械式枯燥生命, 转合人类进化之历史, 时代更替的现况, 醒觉於新世代之来临, 表示对未来世界的观念及期盼。
Cadaver is a death metal band based in Hong Kong. Formed in 2003 by the original members Tak, Wai, Ming and BS, Cadaver has since been featured in many underground metal gigs as well as the iconic Noah's Ark Extreme Metal Festival in 2005. Unfortunately, the band was shortly dismissed due to unforeseen problems. In late 2009, Tak reformed the band with founder members Wai and Ming, as well as new guitarist Jason. This line up was featured in Hong Kong Extreme Metal Festival in May 2011. By the fall of 2011, Ming had left the band, and two talented members, Wilfred and Sean, had joined to continue the efforts of Cadaver.
In 2014, activities were suspended due to personal reasons. Kevin joined the band in 2015.
